The presence between us of the Truely God, Creator of All Things, as the Second Person of Trinity is overwelming. In spite of His absolute greatness, He becomes Himself equal with our insignificancy in order to, with absolute love, give us the possibility of absolute pardon, by means of His injust dead, and the opportunity to return to His pressence by all the eternity. <P>He is born from Mary, the Virgin, conceived by God´s will without original sin in order to receave God in Her virginal whomb. She answer to those outstandings signs with a real full of virtues life, aknowledgment to Her Son and a very strong pain by His sacrifice.

In the Wedding of Cana, Jesus gently reproach Her mediation. " what do you have to do with this", and humble She accepts it " Do it as He said". But after that, He makes His first miracle.

At the end, in the Cross, He says to the Virgin "Woman, here is your Son", and to His prefered disciple, John, "Son, here is your Mother", with a clear signal to name Her a Mediator and Mother of mankind and identified Her with the Church.

At the same time He asks John, all of we identified in him, to respect the Virgin and to recognize always Her as our Mother.

Besides, been God-Christ the Perfection Himself, would not He loves Her as His Son, if we, an example of imperfection, do it ?. And also how comes She is proclaimed the Magnificent in Saint John´s Gospel ?

With the idea to really live the liturgy times, we got to rejoice for Jesus birth, to think of the Virgin´s great virtues, and following the words of Her Son, crucified by us, accept Her as our Celestial Mother and a mediator Who guide us to Him.

And in Her Guadalupe´s advo-cation we also got to understand Her evangelic role. With the economic, social and tecnologic problems at the begining of XXI Century, Saint Mary shines due to Her predilection to vulnerable groups, the sick people, the aborigens, the inmigrants and the humble men.

Pope Juan Pablo II in Vatican City, celebrated december 12th whith a Mass in honor of Virgin of Gudalupe. In order to close the All America Bishops´ Sinode.

He also made the compromize to present the results of the meeting in 1998 at the Virgin of Guadalupe´s feet, in Mexico City and ask Her "... may the poor, the natives, the earth-lacking people and those without any roof nor home in the Americas, could be recognized by words and acts, with their full dignity as God´s sons and all justice for them shall be accomplished... in the families shall exist union and generosity and the Bishops, the Priest and Religious shall give an evangelic testimony of their vocation, in spite of pressures and persecutions and the Assembly of the Americas, shall be a real answer of evangelization of our times."

And He finished "...Please hear us Little Black Virgin, Mother of Hope, Mother Guadalupe, because the Americas need and demand us Justice and Peace".

<P>On November 1 and 2, in Mexico is celebrated All Saints´ and Dead´s days. In to many homes they are prepared Altars with "zempazuchil" yellow flowers, some meals, drinks and relatives´ dead

photographies. Cemeterys are visited that nigth by people bringing wax candles to pray for their dead familiy members over the tombs. It is an habit that comes from pre-cortesian times.

Rigth now catholic people celebrate the Mass in order to pray for their family deads. This month we can remember our beloved dead people and pray to Saint Mary Virgin to intercede for our salvation.

Saint Maria de Guadalupe, Empress of America, will preside the VI Marian Eucaristic Bolivarian Congress. It will take place in Campo Ferial from Atalay Lagoon in Cochabamba Bolivia from October 7th to 12th.

The image was given by His Excelence Norberto Rivera-Carrera, Prime Archbishop of Mexico.

To this event will assist the Bishops, the Theologists and all faithfull people from the neighbours countries invited.

As well known The Saint Maria´s apparitions in Her Guadalupe´s advocation are the only ones that She left us Her image in the "tilma" a kind of, till now beatifyed Juan Diego´s cloth.

Saint Mary of Guadalupe, Empress of America, united us with ubreakable links of fraternity to all american peoples, evangelized by Her. With the same idea in this event the bolivians Saint Maria´s advocations will be presented.

Also remember this 7th tuesday October is celebrated the Day of the Rosary. Let us pray the rosary in Virgins´s honor and to ask for Juan Diego´s cannonization.

Maria was borned without the original sin. This is celebrated the eigth of this month. It is a marvelous God´s gift returned by Her in a really astounded way.

Also the twelfth is celebrated the Maria´s Name. Signaled by Divinity, She accepts Her destiny with a real humbleness and She dedicates all Her life to the service of Jesus Christ. She spreads all Her virtues to show us the way of life to follow in order to reach God.

Maria´s name, Miriam, means "lady". And really She acts as a Lady. Beeing from a very renowned family in Her environement, She is just in the moment to be married with Saint Joseph. She perfectly knows the problems to come when She accepts the Holly Ghost´s proposition. She takes Her own decition and, as allready said, She makes Her best efforts to be at Our Lord´s service.

Let us follow the Virgin´s example. Let us think in Maria´s Sweet Name. Maria Virgin, in Her Guadalupe´s advocation, evangelizes the New World, but at the same time, unifieds all the people of the Earth. Think in Her Inmaculated Conception, to which She answers dedicating all Her life to God. We could say, after Christ´s unjust dead for us, in a certain way all of us are borned without the original sin, depending on our posterior conduct. Ad Iesum per Mariam.

Assumpta est Maria. Conceived without the original sin, after offering Her life to our Lord and spending Her life in the service of Our Lord, with extraordinary faith, humbleness and love for God, She suffers the terrible pain of seeing Him go through His Passion and die unjustly.

She receives the most deserved gift of being taken up to Heaven. It is a fact, that, during Jesus' life, and after His death She carried out Her evangelizer mission. However, we must meditate that, undoubtedly, after Her Assumption, and when She was already in the presence of the Creator Divinity, she continued her evangelizer mission by means of Her appearances. In her altar dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe she converts half of the world to Catholicism.

She does it with the celestial motherly gentleness she uses when she speaks to Juan Diego in his own Náhuatl language, She understands his way of thinking and his traditions. She makes "inculturation", as His Holliness Jean Paul II would say. She understands our pain and our needs and She leaves us, as a testimony, an extremely beautiful message of protection and hope. And she kindly asks us to follow Her Son's example so that, one day, at the end of the times, we shall all be united in Heaven.

May, the core month of the Spring. Month of the flowers. In Mexico and in a great part of the world, it is the month of the Mothers. We must associate Mary to the month of May, in her altar dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe, as Mother of God and of mankind, Lady of all the flowers and Queen of the Spring. These three facts interlaced, are just like a three-voice musical "fugue", where the three images are joined together: The image of the flowers, of the Spring and of the Mother of God, Mother of Mankind and Messenger of Divinity.

Of the flowers, because She chose them as a means for Zumárraga to believe in Her celestial origin. Of the Spring, because Nature renovates itself in the Spring . The harsh winter comes to an end and the days start to fill themselves with light, just as Mary filled the world with light by bringing Her son into it.

Mother by antonomasia. Is it possible for us not to think of Her motherhood? God Himself chose Her so that He could become a man, a man just like all of us. Flower, Mother and Spring. Mother, Spring and Flower, with the most classical counterpoint rhythm.

Now, in this month, according to the thoughts of John Paul II for the "Tertio Millenio Adveniente", of the Jubilee of the year 2,000, the six 1997 topics are perfectly related to the image of Mary of Guadalupe. The Marian Mystery undoubtedly identifies Her as the Mother of the True God, He for Whom we Live. Jesus Christ is the person, of the Trinity, Whom she admirably complements.

The theological virtue of our times, the Faith, is perfectly expressed by Mary's behavior during the annunciation. It is also expressed by Mary's attitude throughout Jesus' childhood and by Her attitude when She has to confront the terrible and painful martyrdom of Her son. All Her pain as a mother can only be palliated by the certainty of Her Son's future resurrection.

Christ always identifies Her as His Mother and She reiterates this fact when Guadalupe, on the Tepeyac hill, says to Juan Diego: "...am I not here, your mother..?" and immediately, by means of divine grace, She is reaffirmed as Mother of all mankind.

The other three Jubilee topics are also related to Mary of Guadalupe. Mary, as the first and main evangelizer of the so-called New World, She brings Jesus to our ancestors and She incorporates them into our true religion through Baptism. She is the most admirable flower of the spiritual spring of the American continent and, through this sacrament she immediately converts the inhabitants of half of the world. With the gentle catechism of a mother who speaks to them in their own language, She understands their customs. Since then, Mary, who became our kind Mother, has protected us under her mantle and has palliated our pain and has provided us with continuous messages of hope.

Undeservedly, She adopts us and becomes our protective mother. Her faith makes us believe. Through Her motherly figure she brings Her precious Son to our continent, giving us an ever-lasting example of her search for Christian unity. These weeks, let us follow her example of Faith and let us meditate that, since then, as the Mother of God, She has evangelized us, She has facilitated our baptism and has promoted unity - unity which is now spread, through Internet, to the whole world. She is still Spring, Mother and Flower, and She is now projected to the whole planet. Let us plead Mary to draw us near the Holy Spirit, since Pentecost is also remembered in this month. May Mary, who brought Her son to the earth, intercede so that we can receive His gifts.

We are just finishing the Careme. It is a very good time to recognize our sins, to be sorrow and to have reconciliation wiht Divinity. Holly Week is also the moment to make meditacion on all Our Lord Jesus-Christ´s sufferings By means of the original sin, committed by a man we were far away from God, now by means of The Man, Jesus-Crhist´s dead and ressurection, we got the possibility to return to paradise and have eternal life with Him.

We must remember the Virgin´s silent pain during the whole Passion. She not only faces her Son´s dead. She knows His Divine Quality and has affliction because God became Man, the Second Person of the Holly Trinity, and He is going to die and save mankind.

But on the cross, Jesus name Her as the Mother of all people, "... Woman, this is your Son. Son, this is your Mother...", Then in the Tepeyac, She appears to Juan Diego and tells him . " don´t am I here to be your Mother ?, I am the Mother of all your family and the Mother of all people who looks for Me..." and She allways has accomplished Her maternal mission.

Througth history, artist have allways tried to evoque those tragic moments. In sculpture, Michelangelo´s Pieta. In paint, Cimabue, Mantegna, Antonello da Messina, Grünewald, Massaccio, Dali and Anguiano, each one with their crucifictions. La Pieta of Avignon, or the Bellinni and Van der Weiden descents.

In music, Bach´s Passions, Rossini´s Stabat Mater or Wagner´s Holly Friday music from Parsifal.. In the last one, when Parsifal arrives to Monsalvat Castle, where the Holly Grial is garded, he finds a garden with beautifull flowers. Astounded he ask why are so many flowers in that very sad day. They answer him the plants blossoms this unique day with the tears the people cry Christ´s sufferings.

Then Resurrection´s Sunday comes. This day we shoud confirm our faith and love to Saint Mary of Guadalupe, Mother of the Very Truly God, By Whom all of us live.
